Fin Method

Founder, Strategy and Marketplace Operations

I built four UK Amazon category #1 bestsellers and £1M in Shopify sales. Fin Method is what came out of that.

Operator story

I'm Nadira. I ran a seven-figure UK Amazon business between 2019 and 2023, alongside a Shopify operation that did roughly £1M in sales over the same period. The business sold consumer goods across homeware and small electricals. The wins — four UK Amazon category #1 bestsellers, ten products in top-30 bestseller rank, damaged returns reduced from 41% to under 1% across the range, and products that hit category #1 within sixty days of launch — happened across listings, launches, A+ Content, packaging, range strategy, PPC, and cross-channel reading. Most of what I do at Fin Method now comes from that period.

What I learned in that period: most ecommerce agencies sell frameworks they read about. Operators sell frameworks they paid to learn. The wins required reading category dynamics with enough detail to know which conventions to follow and which to break. The losses — and there were real ones, six figures of them across launches that didn't work, listings that bled conversion, and SKUs that should have been killed earlier — taught me what doesn't survive contact with reality. The methodology I use at Fin Method came out of running both halves of that experience. Wins and losses are both methodology inputs.

At Fin Method I lead strategy, marketplace operations, and copy. The services I deliver directly are mostly Grow and Analyse tier — Brand Positioning, Category & Competitor Report, GTM Strategy Document, Strategic Retainer, plus the full audit and diagnostic engagements. I also write the copy on Create-tier services like Amazon SEO Listing, A+ Content, and Brand Voice & Website Copy. Steph handles all Shopify development — theme customisation, custom section builds, technical work — and we collaborate on Shopify Content & UX and UX & Funnel Optimisation, where copy and code both ship together. The split is deliberate. Two specialisms, no subcontracting, both of us shipping the work we sell.

I'm Somali-British, neurodivergent, and based in the UK. Most of the brands I work with are UK or EU, between £250k and £5M in revenue, selling consumer goods on Amazon, Shopify, or both. I don't pitch on calls — the catalogue is the pitch. Twenty-minute scoping calls are free. If I think a service is wrong for what you're trying to do, I'll say so. If I think you should hire someone else, I'll tell you that too. The model only works if it stays honest.
