What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember your visit, support site functionality, or measure usage.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required). Session and security cookies set by our hosting provider (Vercel) so pages serve correctly. No tracking, no personal data collection.

Analytics cookies (consent required, off by default). We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages get read, where visitors come from, and which content resonates. GA4 sets cookies named _ga, _ga_<property-id> and, in some configurations, _gid. These cookies are only set after you click Accept on the consent banner.

Data collected via GA4: page views, session duration, traffic source, approximate location (city-level), device type, and anonymised IP address (IP anonymisation is turned on at the tag level).

Data not collected: personal identifiers, email addresses, precise location, cross-device tracking. We do not run Google Ads, so no ad personalisation or remarketing cookies are set even when you accept.

Data retention: 14 months. Processor: Google LLC (United States). Transfers are made under Google’s EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification.

Advertising and tracking cookies. We don’t use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.

Third-party cookies

If we embed third-party services on the website (for example, a Stripe Checkout flow or a Cal.com booking embed), those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies. We’ll list any such embeds here as we add them. None are currently embedded.

How to change your consent

Use the Cookie preferences control (also in the site footer) to re-open the consent banner and change your choice at any time.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a “do not track” setting that we honour where applicable. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the website (for example, the contact form).

Legal basis

Analytics cookies are loaded only after you give explicit opt-in consent under UK GDPR and EU GDPR. Strictly necessary cookies fall under the ICO’s “strictly necessary” exemption from the consent requirement.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our cookie use changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
