What this is

This is a themed analysis of customer reviews across one product line — typically up to ten SKUs in the same range. The problem it fixes is that most ecommerce founders read reviews reactively. They see the one-star complaint, write it off as edge case, and miss the pattern that explains why returns are creeping up or why the SKU isn't repeating. We read the reviews structurally — across product, listing, packaging, and shipping themes — code them, count them, and surface the three to five themes doing the most commercial damage. The output is what to fix in product, what to fix in listing, what to fix in packaging, and what to ignore. Methodology comes from running an Amazon operation where review velocity and review themes drove launch decisions across ten products in top-30 bestseller rank — work where reading reviews wrong cost real money.

What happens during the 5 business days
  1. 01

Day 1. Review pull and theme coding setup.

  2. 02

Days 2–3. Reading and coding — typically two hundred to five hundred reviews across the line.

  3. 03

Day 4. Theme aggregation and pattern analysis.

  4. 04

Day 5. Written delivery and a thirty-minute walkthrough call.

What you get

Concrete deliverables, no vague promises.

  • Review and feedback analysis document — eight to twelve pages, PDF or Google Doc
  • Theme map across product, listing, packaging, and shipping dimensions
  • Ranked list of the three to five themes doing the most commercial damage
  • SKU-by-SKU review summary for each product in the line
  • Recommendations split across what to fix in product, listing, packaging, and operational
  • Quantified comparison — review velocity, average rating, theme density — against your category benchmark
  • Thirty-minute walkthrough call after delivery
What’s not included

Where this scope ends.

  • Implementation of fixes (we recommend; you implement)
  • Sentiment analysis at scale (more than a thousand reviews per SKU) — separate scope
  • Cross-channel review consolidation — Amazon plus Shopify plus Trustpilot etc — covered partially; full multi-channel needs separate engagement
  • Customer outreach or response drafting — separate scope on request

FAQ

What people ask before booking.

How many revisions are included? What if we need more?

One revision round is included in every Engagement. Further rounds are £85 each. A revision round means a consolidated set of feedback delivered within 14 days of receiving the work — piecemeal feedback gets folded into one round.

When do we pay? What's the deposit structure?

Engagements under £500 are due on delivery. Engagements £500 and above are 50% deposit on booking, 50% on delivery. The Strategic Retainer is monthly upfront with a two-month minimum. We hold your slot the moment payment lands and start work once any deposit clears.

What if our needs are slightly outside the published service?

Custom-scope work is priced from the published Standard rate for the closest service, quoted at scoping, and confirmed in writing before we book. We don't surprise-bill for scope changes.

What if we're not happy with the work?

Tell us within 14 days of delivery. Most cases resolve with a revision. If we genuinely missed the brief, a partial refund is on the table — we'd rather acknowledge it than argue. Otherwise, fees are non-refundable for completed work.

What if our products don't have many reviews yet?

The analysis still works on smaller volumes (down to about fifty reviews per SKU), but the patterns are noisier. Below fifty per SKU we'd recommend the Conversion & Performance Audit instead — it covers the listing-level diagnosis without depending on review volume. Book a scoping call if you're unsure which service fits.

Can you analyse competitor reviews instead of ours?

Yes — same price, same scope. Useful as a pre-launch read on a category, or to understand what buyers are complaining about in adjacent products. Tell us at booking which competitor set you want analysed and we'll lock the list before kick-off.

Ready to book?

Or book a free scoping call first if you’d rather talk it through. Twenty minutes, diagnostic not sales.
