I'm Steph. I'm a Shopify developer specialising in theme customisation, custom section builds, and storefront UX. Two years of full-time Shopify Liquid experience alongside React and Next.js work on bigger frontend systems. I joined Fin Method as the Shopify lead — every Shopify-tier engagement we deliver comes through me, whether that's a product page rebuild, a custom section build, or a full theme customisation.

My specialism is the gap between what most Shopify themes solve and what a brand actually needs. Themes solve eighty percent of the typical use case, and the remaining twenty percent — the custom section, the page-template variant, the specific feature build — is where most brands either compromise or pay for a full theme rebuild they didn't need. I build the missing twenty percent directly into your existing theme, scoped before kick-off, fixed price, no surprises mid-build. Most of what I work on is Shopify 2.0 themes — Dawn, Sense, Crave, plus paid themes — with occasional migration work from older Vintage themes when the customisation requires it.

I work closely with Nadira on Shopify Content & UX and UX & Funnel Optimisation engagements, where Nadira leads the copy and structure and I handle the implementation. On Shopify Theme Customisation work, I run scope, build, and handover myself, with Nadira reviewing the build at delivery for UX consistency with the rest of the site. The split is honest: she leads strategy and copy, I lead the build.

Outside the Shopify work I've also led frontend development on broader systems — React, Next.js, Supabase integration, agent architecture for the platform side of Fin Method's parent group. The Shopify specialism sits inside a wider frontend toolkit, which means when a Shopify build needs to integrate with something else (an external API, a custom backend, a logic layer), I can build both halves rather than handing one off.
